INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Nuts, chopped – almonds, pecans, or walnuts
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tenderflake pie shells, thawed
- Filling
- 4 cups Apples, peeled, cored & sliced
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 2/3 cup prepared Steeped Tea Chai latte
- Dash of Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar, packed

1 tsp Cinnamon Churro Chai Functional Latte
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Carefully take out the crust from one of the Tenderflake pie pans and set aside.
- Combine nuts, melted butter and brown sugar.
- Place in the pie pan.
- Place the pie crust on top of the pecan mixture in a pie plate.
- In a skillet, cook apples with 3 tablespoons butter over medium high and heat for 2 minutes.
- Add the prepared Steeped Tea Chai latte.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add cinnamon.
- Drain apples and place in the pie crust; combine 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tsp Steeped Tea Chai latte mix together and sprinkle on top of the pie.
- Lift the second pie crust out of the pie plate and place on top of the apples.
- Use a fork to seal edges and cut a few slits in top crust to allow venting.
- Place the pie on the middle rack and bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately turn the pie upside down onto a serving plate.
